Yes, it’s possible. You can make money online.
Your main options are:
- Create a part time or full time job for yourself and make money that way (selling on eBay, Amazon… selling your services…)
- Take the time to work out how to start your own online business – put the work in now so you can profit long term.
- You can also make money online by creating pages on Squidoo (they call web pages Lens’) orHubPages (they call them Hubs). Now you won’t earn much this way without putting a LOT of work in, but it’s a good place to get your feet wet in the internet publishing world.
Since I created this site to focus on helping you create passive income through your own websites, I may have a tendency to repeat myself…
I may have a tendency to repeat myself…
Now again, it does take work at the start to get the skills and know how in place to build your own web business, but once it’s up and running and taking on a life of its own, it may amaze you.
But all this said, creating and building your own websites may not be for you. It may not interest you, and if that’s the case it really may not be the right thing for you. I really believe it’s better to do something you enjoy, than just chase something for the money.
If you have a business doing what you enjoy, you may find the money finds you a lot easier. Obviously! — I’m not talking about getting paid to watch television, but if you enjoy writing, maybe offering your services as an article writer is a good way to go.
You can start by offering your service at TextBroker or eLance or Guru… maybe sign up withDemand Media or Seed (part of AOL), and perhaps in time you’ll be able to grow a client list and build a thriving business.
One thing I should say – a lot of online writing has become commoditized – you can see that by the low prices paid. So if this really appeals to you long term, becoming an expert writer on niche subjects (finance, medical…) can mean you charge more for your services as not many people are able to compete with you at that level of expertise.
